Often hovers above waves, “pattering” on surface

🗺️ Habitat & Distribution

Watch from Selsey Bill or Seaford Head during August–October gales. Extremely challenging to spot unless conditions are ideal.

🎶 Voice & Behaviour

Silent at sea. Nests on remote islands; pelagic lifestyle keeps it far offshore.
