Britain’s most widespread breeding bird, the Wren is tiny but loud, often found in tangled undergrowth across Sussex.

Occurs in gardens, woodlands, hedgerows, and marshes—virtually everywhere across Sussex.

Surprisingly loud song for its size—a rapid, trilling burst. Sharp “tic-tic” call.

🍴 Diet

Insects, spiders, small invertebrates.
