Outing Information: There is a path that runs around the outer sea wall. We will follow circular route which is approximately 3 miles.
This reserve offers wonderful walks all year round, but during the winter it really comes to life, playing host to a staggering number of migratory, overwintering wildfowl.
Dark bellied brent geese, wigeons, teals, avocets, redshanks and dunlins flock to Farlington Marshes in their thousands, creating unrivalled bird watching opportunities.
Bring refreshments & some lunch as we will stop part way along the route.
Meeting Point: Meet at 10am at the far (Eastern) car park, which is at the entrance to the seawall & reserve.
