Spotted Flycatchers Fall Into Mill Hill

Spotted Flycatchers Fall Into Mill Hill

A small fall of Spotted Flycatchers were spotted in Shoreham’s Mill Hill nature reserve recently.

These beautiful birds are on their autumn migration back to Africa, but need to rest and refuel on their journey, with Mill Hill the perfect stopping off spot.

With Wheatear, Whinchat, Willow Warbler and even Pied Flycatcher all spotted in the SDOS area recently, this is the perfect time to get out and spot these fabulous little birds before they leave our shores for another year.
